Since 1994, the ClassiX® Software GmbH develops an OO ERP toolbox. System core are C++ coded business classes. The CyberEnterprise® model developed, based on the idea of a virtual company. At the beginning, only one prefabricated and trademarked product had been integrated. It was the database ObjectStore by the Progress Software Corporation. The trademarks AppsWarehouse® (application module library), InstantView® (scripting language to visualise business classes) and ClassiX® (the product OO ERP toolbox) are proprietary developments by the ClassiX® Software GmbH.
Since computers and internet are commonly used in private households, the number oft software developers who program just for the sake of programming, grew bigger and bigger. Due to this situation, highly intelligent code is available for free. After having a close look at some of this code, it became part of ClassiX®. Here it depends on each programmer which license terms and legal notices to consider. This require a distribution of the OO ERP system toolbox ClassiX® under copyright notice, consideration of trademark laws and possibly further runtime licensing with costs for integrated add-ons or other features to improve user comfort.
Therefore it is necessary to buy non-exclusive rights to use XGantt or Histogramm to visualize all integrated specialities, especially the supply chain management modules (SCM module) with ClassiX®. This is an add-on, which is subject to license and which is no proprietary development. Licensing for XGantt- or Histogramm components is done via ClassiX® Software GmbH. For complete and legal use of the comprehensive OO ERP systems ClassiX® functions, these rights need to be issued separately and explicitly:

) or rights with costs (runtime or OEM) as a fixed, replaceable or not necessary
element in the product ClassiX®,
all responsible employees (according to written internal programming guidelines)
have to collect information about the legal use of these elements.
As long as we modify and promote "free software", please notice that it is not the original. We want to avoid, that problems caused by us damage the original author's reputation.
The ClassiX® Software GmbH points out, that all rights and comments are placed in all conscience for the author/owner. There has never been the intention of any illegal use. This would be against the company's philosophy and -moral.
