In 1994, the Hamburg based company ClassiX® Software GmbH developed as a venture capital company from the software developer Brenner Datensysteme GmbH. Objective was the development of an innovative system to create commercial applications for medium-sized companies, based on the latest software technology.
The InstantView® RAD Framework has been developed as a greenfield strategy. Not depending on a specific project, it was guaranteed for the abstraction of basic components, which is essential for real standard software. Up to now, more than 5 million € have been invested in R&D.
Choosing over-all object-oriented programming, ClassiX® aims for the implementation of a software production method, which fits the principles of industrial production.
With the ClassiX® InstantView® RAD Framework, customer-specific applications are no longer developed manually, as in a constantly repeating programming basics. The applications are generated based on provided AppsWarehouse® Software Components according to the modular concept.
With this innovation, ClassiX® leads the way establishing a new software generation in the commercial application sector.
After 5 years of intensive research and development, an ERP system prototype based on the ClassiX® InstantView® RAD Frameworks and its AppsWarehouse® Components got delivered for the first time in 1999. Since the middle of 2005, ClassiX® holds its ground at the market of highly specialised ERP solutions for manufacturers of products with variants (References).
The exposure to object-oriented techniques and methods in connection with cross industry business know-how form the base of any development in ClassiX® . For the company, it is the highest priority to provide a highly flexible component system which helps realising customised company solutions in a simple and quick way.
Our Products and Services include software and application development, as well as the object-oriented know-how transfer via consulting, introduction and training.
