  2. Login

Test the  ClassiX® system live with our demo system!

The link "advanced options" on the start screen opens another menu. Here it is possible to change language and client. At the end of this document you will find further details on this topic. The following paragraph describes the connection via Java.

Login:

user name:    demo
password:     demo

The Citrix start screen pops up and shows all enabled applications.

Clicking on one application opens another window (temporarily allow pop-ups):

Opening this window for the first time, it will take little while to download, transfer and check all certificates. Please select "Complete":

In case the installed Java version is too old, only a small gray window pops up. Even after several minutes nothing happens. It is necessary to download a current Java version and to install it via internet explorer.

Windows XP users, who have the latest internet explorer, can use the following link:
http://www.java.com/de/download/windows_ie.jsp?locale=de&host=www.java.com:80

For all other systems and combinations, please go to:
http://www.java.com/de/download/manual.jsp                                                                                                                                                           for manual download selection:

ClassiX® evaluate application

The ClassiX evaluate application opens, in case you have an adequate Java version. To login, please enter
user name:    demo  and
password:      demo.

Now you can use the application like a local application.

If it still doesn't work via Java, please look for connection alternatives at the end of the document.

Connection alternatives in case Java fails

If an adequate Java version has been installed on the accessing computer, the Java client should work without any further plugin installation.

If it doesn't work with Java, there are two other connection alternatives:

Local client means, that the Citrix plugin has been -or is supposed to be- directly installed (internet explorer request). Here it is possible that the plugin installation -which takes only a few seconds- requires administrator rights.

To install the plugins, just click on the row with the question mark and confirm.

The ActiveX control element is the visually least attractive alternative. Mostly, it has to be activated via internet options -> security at first.
