Directory: is localised via environment variable CX_BITMAP, default: CX_ROOTDIR\BMP
Bitmap files are used as background pictures for Windows; often define the appearance of buttons and other Window objects. The bitmap file name can be indicated when defining a Windows, Buttons, ... with InstantView®. The file directory is localised via CX_BITMAP. When this variable is not set, ClassiX® searches for the file in the directory 'CX_ROOTDIR\BMP', as long as no other path has been defined explicitly.
ClassiX® supports bitmaps in the Windows- and in the OS/2 format and the graphic formats PNG, GIF, JPEG (JPG) and TIFF (TIF).
The bitmap directory also contains all icons.
